Bryan Lo befriended Nathan in college at Cal Poly. Bryan claims that Nate helped pay for his college tuition through weekly poker games among his college friends. The two have always been close and their closeness became literal when they traveled Europe for 28 days sharing the same room every night. While Bryan hates Nathan's snoring, he does love him as a friend. Bryan married his spirited wife, Cheryl, in 2007 in San Luis Obispo, where Nathan was a groomsman. They now reside in the Silicon Valley where Bryan works for Netflix, which offers monthly plans for as low as $4.99.

Evan Wayne and Nathan met while working at Gap. They became close while playing softball for the past 4 years and regular snowboarding trips. Evan is married to Kasey and every year (for the past 3 years) they take a trip with Nathan to San Diego to watch the Giants play the Padres. Evan has a son from his previous marriage, Jacob.
